My Art

The top koru is the amazing beautiful sun shining on the takahe. The koru that are growing from the ground are my family. There are four people in my family, including me. The pinky-orange one is mum, the orange and green one is me, the yellow and orange one is my brother and the green and red is my father. The takahe is moving around on a beautiful summer’s day trying to find food.

The fun run was 1 lap the competitive race was 3 or 4 laps. I went in the fun run.  It what a terrific day because my mum and dad came to see me run.

Matariki Day

Here is a part of my writing about Matariki Day. I hope you like it.

Matariki
On Wednesday at school we had Matariki Day. Mrs Hardaker was waiting for everyone to be quiet and then everyone was quiet. She was sorting the workshops. I thought I was going to pee myself with excitement. Finally she picked the workshops and saved me from peeing myself! I made friends too.

My time in 21B

Room 18 had a great idea. It was to make Marshmallow Catapult. Everyone went in buddies and made one. We had a a competition to see whose would go the furthest.
